Sylvan
Founded in Germany in 1998, Sylvan has developed into an internationally acclaimed group appearing at several concerts and festivals around the world. They started as a neo-progressive rock band, but over the course of 6 studio albums they have forged their own blend of alternative, progressive, and art rock.
SYLVAN are: Marco Glühmann - vocals, Matthias Harder - drums, Sebastian Harnack - bass, Jan Petersen - guitars, and Volker Söhl - keyboards

Sylvan just released a live DVD/CD that contains the remarkable concept album "Posthumous Silence" performed live on stage in its entirety. About SPARC
The Seattle Progressive & Art Rock Community (SPARC.) was founded on August 2nd 2006. Our goal is to unite progressive rock and art rock fans living in the greater Seattle area with bands and venues. This means having regular meetings, building mailing lists, organizing promotional street-teams, listing progressive-rock friendly venues, listing local progressive rock bands, and ultimately organizing annual progressive rock festivals! Success means making Seattle an attractive city for all major progressive touring acts while properly supporting local talent.
