The Seattle Progressive & Art Rock Community (SPARC) was founded on August 2nd 2006. Our goal is to unite progressive rock and art rock fans living in the greater Seattle area with bands and venues. This means having regular meetings, building mailing lists, organizing promotional street-teams, listing progressive-rock friendly venues, listing local progressive rock bands, and ultimately organizing annual progressive rock festivals! Success means making Seattle an attractive city for all major progressive touring acts while properly supporting local talent. Right now we seek charter members to help organize this group.
